On the 12^th, we left to travel 9 miles to Jansthawern, an inn. On the 11^th, the 2^nd brigade arrived there as well.

Den 12 ten brachen wir wiedrum auf 9 Meilen biß Jansthawern ein Wirthshaus. Den 11ten kame das 2te Brigad auch alda an.

On the 13^th, we travelled 19 miles to Fredericksburg, a rather large town along a river with intense boat traffic, but which loses its force once in Fredericksburg and there is nothing more than a small river. We had a day’s rest there, near Raponeck or Fall-Muth, a small town parallel to Fredericksburg, on the other side of the river, about a quarter hour away.

Den 13ten wieder alda auf 15 Meilen biß Fridrigsburg eine ziemlich grosse Stadt an einem schiffreichen Fluße, welcher aber alda bey Fridrigsburg seine Stärcke verliehret, und nur noch ein gantz kleiner Fluße ist. Wir hatten alda Rastag bey Raponeck, oder Fall-Muth ein kleines Städtgen paralell gegen Fridrigsburg, über dem Wasser auf der andern Seite, ohngefähr eine Vierthel-Stunde davon.

On the 15^th, we set off again for 15 miles to Quebeck, a village of a few houses. We made our camp near a beautiful plantation.

Den 15ten brachen wir alda wiedrum auf 15 Meilen biß Quebeck ein Dorff von etlichen Häusser starck. Wir schlugen unser Lager bey einem schönen Schändelmäns-Hoffe.

On the 16^th, the 2^nd brigade left Falmouth and took our place.

Den 16ten brache das 2te Brigad auch von Fall-Muth auf und kame in unser Platz.

On the 16^th, we set off again for 12 miles to Dumfrett, a small town; we had to cross a river with intense traffic there, the town being located on the other side of the river. We made our camp about half of a quarter hour from the town, on the other side of the river.

Den 16ten brachen wir wiedrum von da auf 12 Meilen biß Dumfrett ein kleines Städtgen, alda mußten wir einen schiffreichen Fluß passieren. Das Städtgen liegt auch jenseit dem Fluße. Wir schlugen unser Lager ohngefähr eine halbe Vierthel-Stunde von dem Städtgen jenseit dem Fluße.
