On the 30^th, good winds and very pleasant weather, we could not wish for better.

Den 30ten guten Wind mit schönem lieblichen Wetter welches man nicht besser wünschen konte.

On the 1^st of June, the horizon appeared bright and clear with rather strong winds, but which were good and pleasant, and very pleasant weather, which delighted everyone.

Den 1sten Juny zeigte sich der Horizont hell und klahr mit etwas starckem Wind welcher aber gut und angenehm ware, wie auch die Wieterung sehr lieblich daß jedermann darüber erfreuet ware.

Den 3ten bekamen wir einen kleinen Sturm, welcher sich gegen 2 Uhr nach Mittag zeigte gleich ein grossen Sturm, doch er wurde aber nicht sehr starck und ohnge-fähr biß den andren Tag tauerte, wir bekamen darauf wiedrum guten Wind.

On the 5^th around 8 o’clock in the morning, we had very cool winds from the north, but it is true that the air is always rather crisp on the ocean.

Den 5ten morgens gegen 8 Uhr bekamen wir Wind von nördlicher Seite und gantz kühl, weilen allezeit etwas scharffe Lufft auf dem Oceanischen Meer regieren thut.

On the 7^th, around noon, we came across many fish once again that were marvelous to watch.

Den 7ten gegen Mittag traffen wir wiedrum sehr viele Fische an welche wunderbahr zu sehen waren.

On the 8^th, we sailed along the African coast and passed by the Barbary Coast[370]. There the heat intensified a little.

Den 8ten seegelten wir langs deren africanischen Küsten und der Barbarey vorbey. Allwo die Hitze wiedrum etwas zunahme.
