On the 4^th, the 2^nd regiment took to the road and took the place of the 1^st regiment.

On the 4^th, the 3^rd regiment reached the place we had occupied, and so forth. On the 4^th, the first regiment travelled 9 miles to Readlies. On the 5^th, the 2^nd regiment took our place.

Den 4ten kame das dritte Regimen t wiedrum in unser Platz und so fort. Den 4ten brache das erste Regiment wieder auf 9 Meilen biß Readlies. Den 5ten kame das 2te Regimen t in ihren Platz.

On the 5^th, the 2^nd brigade arrived in Readlis in turn. On the 5^th, the first regiment travelled 9 miles to New Charlestown or Neu Carlstatt, as for the 2^nd regiment, it took the place of the previous one and so forth[241].

Den 5ten kame das 2te Brigade auch alda zu Readlis an. Den 5ten brache das erste Regimen t auf 9 Meilen biß New-Charlstaun oder Neu-Carlstatt, das 2te Regiment kame wieder in ihr Platz und so weiter fort.

On the 6^th, the first regiment again travelled 9 miles to Neu Castel, a small town by a river alongside which we made our camp. The next day, Royal Deux-Ponts arrived here as well and took a day to rest, along will all the regiments. Here, the whole army gathered together.

Den 6ten ginge das erste Regimen t wiedrum 9 Meilen biß Neu-Castel, ein Städtgen an einem Fluße liegend allwo wir gantz nahe dabey das Lager schlugen. Den andern Tag kamme Royal Deuxponts auch alda an und hatten Rastag allda, desnemliche alle Regimenter. Alda kame die gantze Armée wiedrum zusammen.

On the 8^th, the first brigade set off again and travelled 7 miles to Hanover, a small town along a river in a pleasant and beautiful region. Now we were marching, brigade by brigade, in the direction of Fredericksburg. We made our camp about a quarter hour from the town, near a magnificent town hall located along the edge of the road; there a great crowd assembled upon our arrival. On the 9^th, we left to travel 13 miles

Den 8ten brache das erste Brigade alda wiedrum auf 7 Meilen biß Hannobers-Kurthaus, oder Hannoberthaun ein Städtgen an einem Fluße in einer angenehmen und schönen Gegend. Wir marschierten jetzt noch brigad-weis biß nach Fridrigsburg. Wir schlugen unser Lager ohngefähr eine Vierthel-Stunde vor dem Städtgen herauß bey einem wunderschönen Rathhauße an der Straße allwo sich wiedrum sehr vieles Volck versammlete bey unsrer Ankunfft. Den 9ten brachen wir wiedrum alda auf 13 Meilen biß
