The owner’s name is Wassermann. We made our camp nearby. That day we had covered 10 miles.

On the 10^th, we set off again for 12 miles to Providence, a rather large city. We had a few days of rest there.

Den 10ten brachen wir alda auf 12 Meilen biß Profidens ein Stadt von einer zimmlichen grösse. Alda hatten wir Rastag.

On the 13^th, we moved the camp to the other side of the city, one mile away. We rested there until December 4^th. The Von Rühl and Cabannes Companies were sent as a detachment group to Papisneck, a small village along the water’s edge, where the war ship The Fandasque, on which the hospital was boarded, was being repaired in order to go to the Indies[274], under the protection of 2 companies.

Den 13ten veränderten wir das Lager auf die andre Seite von der Stadt, eine Meil weit davon. Wir hatten Rastag alda biß den 4 Xbr. Die Compag[nie] von Rühl und Cabannes wurden alda detachirt nach Papisneck ein kleines Dorff am Wasser liegend, allwo das Krieg-schiff mit Namens Fandasque reparieret wurde, und wurde alda das Spithal darauf eingeschifft vor nach Indien zu fahren, wie auch die 2 Compagnien etc. zur Bedeckung.
