103. This first battle of Chesapeake Bay (that must be distinguished from the second one on September 5, 1781 that put De Grasse against Graves) occured on March 16th and not on the 6th. This must be a simple copying error as Flohr indicates that it was on March 6th that “we again provided a detachment unit to board ship” (p. 29). See also note 97.
