This detachment group was provided by our company[313] alone. Around March 6^th, we set about loading the food supplies and fresh water on our ship to sail towards Puerto Cabello, about 70 or 80 hours from Curaçao, where all the ships were to assemble in the same place while waiting for the announcement of peace.

Gegen den 6ten Märtz fingen wir wiedrum an unser Schiff einzuladen mit Lebensmittel und frischem Wasser um nach Porto-Cappello zu seeglen welches ohngefähr 70 oder 80 Stunde von Ciracao ware allwo sich alle Schiffe in selbiger Gegend versammlen mußten um den Frieden alda zu erwardten.

A few days ahead of us, the war ship Le Neptune sailed to Puerto Cabello, as well as La Couronne, and both arrived 2 days later after having had a good voyage.

Einige Täge vor uns seegelte das Kriegschiff mit Namens La Neptune ab nach Portobello, wie auch La Couronne welches auch glücklich in 2 Täge alda ankame.

On March 12^th, we left Curaçao as well, with rather poor winds. In the evening we left the land of Curaçao and arrived near the island of Bonheure which is rather sparsely populated and is also owned by the Dutch.

Den 12ten Märtz seegelten wir auch von Ciracau ab mit etwas schlechtem Wind. Gegen Abendt verliessen wir das Land von Ciracau, und kamen gegen die Insel Bonheure, welches ein schlecht be-wohnte Insel ist, ebensfalls auch den Holländern gehöret.
